Privacy Policy
Who we are
At NeuroCreare, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use neurocreare.net and how we use it.
Data controller: César Alvarez González, MD, PhD, operating under the brand NeuroCreare, Spetson 5A, 1082, Nicosia, Cyprus. Email: info@neurocreare.net.
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law 125(I)/2018 of the Republic of Cyprus.
What this website is
This is a static website: pages are pre-built and served as files. There are no user accounts, no logins, no comments, no advertising, and no tracking or analytics tools. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Information we collect
Messages you send us. If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to reply and to provide the service you ask about.
Booking a call. When you schedule a call, the booking is handled by Cal.com on its own website, under its own privacy policy. We receive the details you enter there (such as your name, email and chosen time).
Consulting clients. When you engage our services, we may process your name, email and professional affiliation to deliver the work and for invoicing.
Server logs. Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data for each request — IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested. These logs are used only for security and to keep the site running, are not linked to your identity, and are kept for a limited time.
We do not accept or process patient medical records. Please do not send us identifiable health data. If you send such data inadvertently, we may delete it immediately.
Legal basis
We collect and use personal information only when one of the following applies:
we need it to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into one;
you have given us permission to do so;
processing is in our legitimate interests (for example, replying to your message or keeping the site secure);
we need to comply with the law.
How long we keep data
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (such as accounting records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Third-party services
This website links to or relies on a few external services. Each has its own privacy policy:
Cal.com — appointment booking for the free 15-minute call (privacy policy).
Stripe — secure payment processing for consulting services. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us (privacy policy).
antama.io — our separate wellbeing coaching platform, which has its own terms.
Nexus (nexus.neurocreare.net) — our blog, hosted on Cloudflare. Readers are not tracked; comments, if you leave one, store the name and text you submit.
Social networks (LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, X) — only if you choose to follow a link to them.
Fonts are served from our own website, so no font provider receives your data. We have no control over the content and practices of external sites and cannot accept responsibility for their privacy policies.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:
the right to access, update or delete the information we hold about you;
the right of rectification;
the right to object;
the right of restriction;
the right to data portability;

Security
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We protect the information we hold by commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, and unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
Children's information
We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their children's online activity. NeuroCreare does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. If you think your child has provided such information, please contact us immediately and we will promptly remove it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities through this website and is not applicable to information collected offline or via other channels. By using our website, you consent to this Privacy Policy. You are free to refuse our request for personal information, with the understanding that we may then be unable to provide some of the services you want.

Terms for Online Wellbeing Coaching
Introduction
Thank you for choosing our online wellbeing coaching. Before proceeding, please read these terms carefully. Your participation in our services implies that you fully understand and accept them.
1. Non-promise and non-guarantee of results
The services provided by NeuroCreare do not constitute a promise or guarantee of specific future results, improvements or outcomes. Health and wellness vary among individuals, and results may differ based on numerous factors, including individual health conditions, genetic factors, and adherence to guidance.
2. Non-medical and non-professional advice
The services offered by NeuroCreare, including events, programs, consultations and content, do not provide medical, professional or licensed advice. Guidance and information are provided only for general informational and educational purposes, and are separate from consulting a licensed healthcare professional in your country. Always seek professional medical advice for your specific health concerns, particularly neurological and brain health.
3. No medical provider relationship
NeuroCreare is not a medical or healthcare provider, nor a substitute for professional medical treatment. Participation in our events and programs, and access to our content, should not be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, nor used for self-diagnosis.
4. Professional medical consultation requirement
Always consult a healthcare professional before implementing any new lifestyle, dietary, physical or behavioural changes based on information from our services — including changes to diet, exercise, mental health practices or medication. If you have any concerns about your neurological or brain health, consult your healthcare provider immediately.
5. Jurisdiction of medical licensing
Dr C. Alvarez González (NeuroWanderer) is a licensed medical doctor in Mexico. Content and services should not be considered professional medical advice in any other country. Participants outside Mexico should seek healthcare advice from licensed professionals in their own country. Dr Alvarez González's services here are strictly non-clinical.
6. Limitation of liability
By engaging with NeuroCreare services, you agree that we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or content, or reliance on the information provided — including health complications, injuries or adverse effects from lifestyle changes.
7. No emergency medical services
Our services are not intended for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
8. Legal compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding health and wellness guidance in your country. NeuroCreare does not claim responsibility for violations of healthcare laws or medical rules in your jurisdiction.
9. Consent to use of information
We may collect, use and store specific personal data while providing services, in compliance with data protection laws and our Privacy Policy above.
10. Acceptance of terms
By engaging in NeuroCreare services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these terms, that you use the services voluntarily, and that you assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on the information or guidance provided.
11. Virtual health consultations (people in Mexico)
Virtual consultations with Dr César Álvarez González are conducted in accordance with the laws and regulations governing telemedicine in Mexico. These sessions provide educational and advisory services only and do not establish a formal physician–patient relationship.
Dr Alvarez González may draw on his expertise in neurology and neuroscience to interpret prior medical evaluations, lab results and diagnoses, and suggest strategies for brain, mental and physical health. These sessions are health coaching or scientific consulting services and do not constitute direct medical care, diagnosis or treatment. He cannot prescribe medication or provide formal medical diagnoses during these sessions. Please consult your local physician for all diagnostic and treatment needs.
12. Use this site and service at your own risk

2.2 Scope of engagement. Services are limited to:

3.2 Licence. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Site for personal, non-commercial use.
3.3 Restrictions. You may not:
reproduce, distribute or sell any content from the Site without explicit written permission;
use the "NeuroCreare" brand name or the Consultant's credentials (MD, PhD) to imply endorsement of your own products or services;
misrepresent the source of any scientific data or analysis provided.
4. Limitation of liability and disclaimers
4.1 "As is" basis. The Site and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information for any purpose.
4.2 No guarantee of results. Scientific consulting involves inherent uncertainties. The Consultant does not guarantee any specific outcome, research result, regulatory approval or commercial success.
4.3 Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and applicable EU directives:
Exclusion of damages: the Consultant shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business interruption or personal injury — arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information provided.
Cap on liability: if a court finds the Consultant liable despite this disclaimer, total aggregate liability shall not exceed €100.00 or the total fees you paid to the Consultant in the preceding twelve (12) months, whichever is lower.
Scientific uncertainty: science is an evolving field and opinions may change as new data emerges. The Consultant is not liable for subsequent changes in scientific consensus.
5. Professional conduct and ethical standards
5.1 Confidentiality. Client data is treated with strict confidentiality, adhering to professional ethical standards, except where disclosure is required by law or to prevent imminent harm.
5.2 Conflict of interest. The Consultant will disclose any potential conflicts of interest before any paid engagement begins.
5.3 Independence. The Consultant acts as an independent contractor. You are not an employee, partner or joint venturer with the Consultant.
6. Data protection and privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy above. We collect personal data (name, email, professional affiliation) only when necessary to provide consulting services or respond to enquiries, and we do not collect, store or process sensitive health data about patients.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless César Alvarez González and the NeuroCreare brand from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
your use of the Site or services;
your violation of these Terms;
any claim that your use of the Site infringes third-party rights;
any attempt by you to use the services for medical diagnosis or treatment.
8. Termination of services
The Consultant may terminate or suspend any engagement or access to the Site immediately, without prior notice, if:
you violate these Terms;
you attempt to use the services for medical practice without a licence;
the requested service falls outside the scope of "scientific consulting" and enters the realm of "medical practice".
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus. These Terms do not waive any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under EU or Cypriot law, though such rights cannot override the specific exclusions regarding medical liability.
10. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Use this site and service at your own risk
